面对现实中党员干部违反政治纪律和政治规矩的种种表现，总书记常用言简义丰的表述列举，给党员干部敲响警钟，划明不可逾越的红线。
其实，党员干部无论身居何职，不论违反哪方面的纪律，最终都会侵蚀党的执政基础，说到底都是破坏党的政治纪律。
如何防微杜渐？总书记思之深、言之切：“对政治纪律和政治规矩，要十分明确地强调、十分坚定地执行，不要语焉不详、闪烁其词。”
党的十八大以来，党中央紧抓纪律建设，三次修订《中国共产党纪律处分条例》，不断完善政治纪律规矩，在把准政治方向、坚持党的政治领导、夯实政治根基、涵养政治生态、防范政治风险、永葆政治本色、提高政治能力等方面取得显著成效。
但是，我们也应清醒看到，管党治党还面临一些棘手问题。例如在执纪监督中发现的较为典型的问题——结交“政治骗子”。
从近年查处的案件看，湖北省政府原党组成员、副省长曹广晶，山西省原副省长、公安厅原厅长刘新云等多名落马中管干部，均被指出存在结交“政治骗子”的情况。
其实，有些“政治骗子”的手段并不高明，但仍有党员干部信以为真，奉其为座上宾，甘于被其利用、欺骗，甚至主动结交。说到底，就是为了被提拔重用而热衷搞旁门左道，信奉所谓“潜规则”而找“门子”，从而被迷住了心窍，本质在于投机钻营。
对此，2023年底，新修订的《中国共产党纪律处分条例》(以下简称《条例》)在第六章《对违反政治纪律行为的处分》中新增条款，明确了“搞投机钻营，结交政治骗子或者被政治骗子利用的”，以及“充当政治骗子”行为的细化处分规定，让铁纪“长牙”、发威，要求党员干部重视、警醒、知止。
近年来，有些地方违背中央过紧日子要求，打着“为民谋福祉”的幌子，超规模建设没有收益的“形象工程”“政绩工程”。据反腐大片《持续发力 纵深推进》披露，李再勇担任贵州省六盘水市委书记期间，盲目举债大搞“形象工程”“政绩工程”，严重破坏当地生态环境。
对此，《条例》将搞劳民伤财的“形象工程”“政绩工程”行为由违反群众纪律调整到违反政治纪律，理顺了逻辑关系，严格了纪律要求。
习近平总书记在党的二十大报告中提出，加快构建新发展格局，着力推动高质量发展。针对这项决策部署，《条例》在第六章中增写“党员领导干部政绩观错位，违背新发展理念、背离高质量发展要求，给党、国家和人民利益造成较大损失的”相关处分规定，把较为抽象的政绩观问题具体化，为党员干部列出“负面清单”、划出纪律红线。
明制度于前，重威刑于后。新的赶考路上，广大党员干部唯有学懂悟透《条例》内容，时刻绷紧政治纪律这根“弦”，自觉做政治上的“明白人”，才能防止搞“小圈子”“拜码头”“搭天线”等乱象发生，确保党和人民的事业始终沿着中国特色社会主义道路前进。
