　　作为中关村论坛平行论坛之一，由中国工程院主办的工程科技创新论坛当天下午在北京举行，李晓红致辞时作上述表示。

　　他说，当前，百年变局向纵深演进，世界进入新的动荡变革期，世界之变、时代之变、历史之变正以前所未有的方式展开。科学革命催生技术革命，技术革命引发产业变革，这是历史发展规律。因此，我们更要深入认识、准确把握、主动适应当代科技创新大势，力争在新的科技革命中赢得主动。

　　与此同时，全球新质生产力发展如火如荼，而前沿技术是加快形成新质生产力的“主力军”：生命科学已成为21世纪的主导科学，信息科学技术正重塑社会，材料科学技术实现突破性发展，能源科学技术推动人类能源结构转型，空间科学技术上升为国际角逐焦点。
