4月22日至23日，习近平总书记在重庆市考察调研。他来到重庆国际物流枢纽园区，了解当地加快建设西部陆海新通道等情况。
加快建设西部陆海新通道是党的二十大提出的重大战略任务。习近平总书记强调，要高水平共建西部陆海新通道。
今年是《西部陆海新通道总体规划》实施的第5年。5年来，这条国际物流大通道加速延伸，跨越山海，联结世界，铺就崭新的发展通途。
通道建设跑出“加速度”——
西部陆海新通道以重庆为运营中心，各西部省区市为关键节点，利用铁路、海运、公路等运输方式，向南经广西、云南等沿海沿边口岸通达世界各地。
2017年9月，西部陆海新通道的前身——渝黔桂新“南向通道”班列从重庆团结村中心站驶出，标志着该班列实现常态化运输。此后，“第一个1万列”用时1461天，“第二个1万列”用时487天，“第三个1万列”用时402天……西部陆海新通道“万列”完成时间进程不断缩短。
今年一季度，重庆经西部陆海新通道3种主要运输组织方式共运输5万标箱，同比增长39%，货值92.21亿元，同比增长54%。
在西部省区市合作共建下，西部陆海新通道建设跑出“加速度”。
从仅有一条重庆团结村中心站至广西钦州港的班列线路发展至今，西部陆海新通道已有铁海联运班列、国际铁路联运班列、跨境公路班车三种物流形态，覆盖国内18个省区市的151个站点，通达121个国家和地区的503个港口，运送的货物从不足50种到1100余种。
释放西部地区开放发展新动能——
依托西部陆海新通道，今年一季度，广西对越南进出口规模超700亿元，创历史新高；宁夏枸杞原浆和红酒、重庆血橙、贵州茶叶等西部地区特色产品正在成为当地外贸新增长点；“西部造”新能源汽车在欧洲、东南亚市场拓展步伐不断加快……
沿着这条新通道，更多要素资源有效流动，带动更多新产业拔节生长。
陕西、新疆煤炭经西部陆海新通道运至重庆等地，保障当地能源安全；青海纯碱经西部陆海新通道运至广西支持玻璃产业；广西玻璃又经西部陆海新通道运至川渝支持汽车产业……
在新通道带动下，比亚迪等“链主”企业落户广西，康宁玻璃、海尔等龙头企业产能向重庆转移。截至目前，重庆口岸和重点枢纽周边集聚汽车制造、电子信息、装备制造等重点企业超过8000家。
创造“一带一路”合作共赢新机遇——
泰国金枕榴莲搭乘西部陆海新通道班列，10天之内即可摆上重庆等西部城市商超货架，物流成本大幅减少使得价格从每公斤近百元降至每公斤最低40元左右。
这不仅仅是一条物流大通道，更是一条具有澎湃动能的国际经济走廊。
在老挝，中老两国合作打造的万象市现代农业产业园项目正加快推进中。同时，我国还与柬埔寨合作探索“中柬香蕉产业园”项目，与东南亚国家合作推动中国—东盟(钦州)水果交易中心建设，推动长安汽车泰国制造基地加快建设……
